When you buy a gift on uOpen, your have 3 options to choose from when selecting your box:
1. Navigate to the 'Buy as a Gift' tab which is on each box's specific page
2. You will be able to choose your preferred option by using the drop down menu under the header 'Select Gifting Method'
Here you have 3 options
- Voucher by email
- Voucher by post
- Box posted
3. Voucher by email - a digital gift voucher for the box of your choice will be emailed to your recipient on a date of your choosing.
On the delivery page, you will be able to add in the information which will be included in your gift voucher:
- From name (which will appear in the emailed voucher)
- Recipient name (which will appear in the emailed voucher)
- Recipient email address (which the voucher will be emailed to)
- Customer gift message (which will appear in the emailed voucher) e.g. Happy Birthday Dad, love John
- Date you would like the voucher to be sent
The recipient will be emailed a uOpen voucher which looks like this:
You are able to change the gifting method on the delivery page if you want to - simply select another option in the Gifting Method dropdown

4. Voucher sent by post - a printed gift voucher for the box of your choice will be posted to your recipient on the next working day.
This option has an extra £1.99 charge for your printed voucher and postage
On the delivery page, you will be able to add in the information which will be included in your printed gift voucher:
- From name (which will appear on the printed voucher)
- Recipient name (which will appear ion the printed voucher)
- Customer gift message (which will appear on the printed voucher) e.g. Happy Birthday Dad, love John
- Deliver to - you can choose where you would like your printed voucher to be posted to e.g. your billing address or you can enter a new address
The recipient will receive a uOpen printed gift voucher which looks like this:
You are able to change the gifting method on the delivery page if you want to - simply select another option in the Gifting Method dropdown

5. Box posted to the recipient - the next available box will be sent to the recipient
You will be able to check the box delivery schedule on the box page under 'Box Overview'
